Every four to six hours or as required, gently remove any wound by-products and\u003cbr\u003eresidual ointment and reapply. DO NOT use any other agents to clean the wound.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTake care to avoid irritating the damaged skin. For more serious burns seek medical advise. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eTo further protect minor burns and scalds, a dressing can be applied. Apply MEBO Burn Ointment as above. Impregnate one to two layers of sterile gauze with MEBO Burn Ointment and place over wound. Cover with an outer bandage to hold in place.
