Benzac AC Moderate Strength 5% Acne Gel is an effective acne treatment containing Benzoyl Peroxide. Enriched with hydrating Glycerin, this targeted spot gel gets deep into the skin to unblock your pores and kill acne-causing bacteria while keeping your face feeling soft and smooth.
Benzac AC High Strength 5% Acne Gel unblocks pores and penetrates deep into the skin to kill the acne-causing P. acnes bacteria, helping to reduce blackheads and whiteheads. Formulated with hydrating Glycerin and Benzac’s own Acrylates Copolymer (AC) beads to absorb excess oils, it leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth. Use on affected areas as the second step in your three-step acne-fighting skin care routine.
As the second step in your three-step acne treatment routine, only use Benzac AC Moderate Strength 5% Acne Gel on affected areas.
Instructions
Week 1: Start Slowly
Wash and dry your hands Before applying the gel
Cleanse your skin with a gentle cleanser and pat your skin dry.
Apply a thin layer of Benzac AC Gel once daily to the affected areas. Leave on for 2 hours, then rinse thoroughly with water and pat dry.
Moisturise with a light, non-comedogenic moisturiser.
After 3 Days (If Tolerated Well)
Wash and dry your hands Before applying the gel
Cleanse, then apply the gel in the evening.
Let the gel dry and apply a light moisturiser. Leave it on overnight
After 7 Days
If there's no redness or peeling, and your acne hasn't improved, you can use the gel twice daily, in the morning and night.
Following cleansing and before moisturising.
If you're not seeing results, consider switching to Benzac AC Moderate Strength 10% Acne Gel or Benzac AC Mild Strength 2.5% Acne Gel.
If there's no improvement after one month, consult your healthcare professional.
