Folic acid - Conatins a daily dose of 500 micrograms of folic acid which may reduce the risk of neural tube defects if taken for 1 month prior to conception and during the first trimester of pregnancy
Iodine - supports healthy foetal brain development
Iron - supports healthy foetal development. 38-40% of Australian women have below recommended intake of iron
Fish oil - is a source of omega-3 long chain fatty acids

WARNING – Stop taking this medication if you experience tingling, burning or numbness and see your healthcare practioner as soon as possible [contains vitamin B6]. This medicine contains selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 micrograms for adults of selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded. Do no exceed the stated dose except on medical advice. If you have had a baby with a neural tube defect/spina bifiba, seek specific medical advice. Additional supplements may be needed when you are pregnant, discuss your individual requirements with your health professional. Advise your doctor of any medicine you take during pregnancy, particularly in your first trimester. If you are concerned about the health of yourself or your baby, talk to your health practitioner.
